Terms and Conditions

1. The Services

FraudSentry is a public-safety and decision-support service intended to assist users in reviewing suspicious communications, links, calls, requests, and related scam-risk situations.

FraudSentry is not:

• a law enforcement service;
• a bank or payment institution;
• an emergency service;
• a regulated fraud-recovery service;
• legal, financial, tax, medical, or other regulated professional advice;
• a guarantee of safety, legitimacy, identity, authenticity, or outcome.

FraudSentry does not guarantee that it will detect, prevent, stop, block, identify, label, surface, warn about, avoid, or resolve all scams, phishing attempts, impersonation attempts, malicious communications, or resulting losses.

All results, summaries, warnings, and guidance are provided for informational and decision-support purposes only.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Services only if you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement with us and if your use of the Services is not prohibited by applicable law.

If you access or use the Services on behalf of a company, organisation, or other entity, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Accounts and Credentials

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated.

You are responsible for:

1. maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials;
2. controlling access to your devices and account;
3. all activity occurring under your account, except to the extent prohibited by law;
4. promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorised access or security compromise.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that are inaccurate, insecure, compromised, abusive, unlawful, or otherwise present risk to the Services, users, or us.

4. Nature of the Service and No Reliance

FraudSentry may present risk indicators, summaries, cautionary guidance, plan-gated alerts, caller-related prompts, and other outputs. These outputs may be generated by product logic, rules, scoring mechanisms, summaries, or assisted systems.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, misleading, unavailable, or unsuitable for your circumstances;
• not all scams, spoofed calls, suspicious messages, malicious links, or impersonation attempts will be identified;
• different plans, devices, configurations, permissions, and environments may lead to different outputs or functionality;
• FraudSentry must not be relied upon as your sole means of deciding whether to click, answer, pay, share, trust, report, or act.

You must independently verify important matters through official or otherwise trusted channels before taking action.

5. Plan Features, Pricing, and Billing

Certain parts of the Services may be made available on a free basis, while others require payment or an eligible subscription.

Plan descriptions, features, usage limits, retention periods, and pricing may vary and may change from time to time. The plan details displayed at the point of purchase, sign-up, or upgrade form part of the service description applicable at that time.

At the time of writing, plan summaries may include:

• Free: limited web checks, private mode, and no saved-report retention;
• Pro: increased monthly check allowance, Early Warning, richer summaries, and 7-day saved-report retention;
• Max: increased monthly allowance, Early Warning, Safe Call Shield, Trusted Circle, Vulnerable Mode, Recovery Pack, and 30-day saved-report retention.

These summaries are descriptive only and do not create an irrevocable promise that any feature will remain available in the same form indefinitely.

If your subscription is billed through an app store, payment provider, or third-party platform, you are also subject to that third party's billing, renewal, cancellation, refund, and platform rules.

6. Service Changes

We may add, remove, modify, suspend, limit, restrict, or discontinue any feature, plan, functionality, content, integration, interface, or part of the Services at any time, with or without notice, where reasonably necessary or otherwise lawful.

We are under no obligation to maintain any particular feature, workflow, or compatibility unless required by law.

7. Platform, Device, and Permission Dependencies

Certain features are platform-specific and may only work on supported devices and in supported environments.

Features may depend on:

• your subscription plan;
• your geographic region;
• app-store availability;
• device type and operating system;
• permissions and permission status;
• app settings or system settings;
• network or telecom conditions;
• third-party infrastructure;
• whether FraudSentry has been selected as the active caller ID and spam app on supported Android devices.

We do not guarantee that any feature will function on all devices, on all networks, in all countries, or under all technical conditions.

8. Safe Call Shield

Where offered, Safe Call Shield is a support feature only and not a guarantee of detection or prevention. It may require:

• a supported Android device;
• required permissions;
• a compatible operating system and device behaviour;
• an eligible plan;
• FraudSentry being set as the active caller ID and spam app.

Even where these conditions are met, suspicious, spoofed, fraudulent, or unwanted calls may not be identified, labelled, surfaced, or warned about.

9. Trusted Circle

Trusted Circle is a manual-only feature intended to allow user-controlled sharing with a trusted contact where supported and available.

Trusted Circle is not:

• an automatic emergency alert system;
• a safeguarding monitoring platform;
• a continuous monitoring feature;
• a guarantee that a trusted contact will receive, review, or act on shared information.

You are responsible for selecting any trusted contact and for ensuring you have the right to share relevant information with them.

10. Vulnerable Mode, Recovery Pack, and Similar Support Features

Where available, Vulnerable Mode, Recovery Pack, and similar features are intended as support tools only. They do not replace official reporting, law enforcement, banks, payment providers, regulated advisers, medical professionals, or emergency services.

Any guidance provided through such features is informational only and must be independently verified.

11. Rewarded Ads and Promotional Access Flows

Where the Services include rewarded-ad flows, promotional credits, trial access, or other access-related promotions, those flows may be changed, restricted, suspended, or withdrawn at any time.

Availability may depend on third-party services, fraud-prevention checks, successful completion of the required flow, platform restrictions, region, and current product settings.

No reward, credit, or benefit is guaranteed unless all applicable conditions are met.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not, and will not permit any other person to:

1. use the Services for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, defamatory, harassing, or invasive purpose;
2. submit data, content, or materials you do not have the right to submit;
3. use the Services to surveil, stalk, harass, exploit, or monitor another person unlawfully or inappropriately;
4. interfere with, attack, scrape, probe, overload, reverse engineer, bypass, or disrupt the Services or any connected system, except where such restriction is not permitted by law;
5. attempt to bypass plan restrictions, quotas, gating, permissions, or access controls;
6. use automated methods to access or extract content from the Services except where expressly authorised;
7. misrepresent outputs from FraudSentry as official determinations, guarantees, endorsements, or professional advice;
8. upload malicious code, deceptive material, or content intended to impair or manipulate the Services;
9. use the Services in a manner that creates legal, reputational, operational, or security risk for us, our users, or third parties.

13. User Responsibility

You remain solely responsible for your own decisions, conduct, and actions, including whether to:

• click a link;
• answer a call;
• reply to a message;
• send money;
• transfer funds;
• share a code, password, PIN, or personal information;
• report or escalate a matter;
• rely on any output, suggestion, or summary.

FraudSentry is a support tool only. Final judgment and action remain your responsibility.

14. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in the Services, including software, design, branding, trademarks, logos, text, graphics, layout, content, compilations, and functionality, are owned by or licensed to Quantum Ignitions Ltd unless otherwise stated.

These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you except for a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for their intended lawful purpose in accordance with these Terms.

You must not copy, reproduce, adapt, distribute, publish, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the Services except as expressly permitted by law or with our prior written consent.

15. Third-Party Services and Content

The Services may interact with or link to third-party services, including app stores, hosting services, payment providers, analytics providers, public-body websites, support providers, content providers, or communications services.

We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, performance, terms, privacy practices, or content.

References to public bodies, banks, telecom operators, app stores, and similar entities do not imply any partnership, endorsement, or affiliation unless explicitly stated.

16. Suspension, Restriction, and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, disable, or terminate all or part of your access to the Services immediately, with or without notice, where we reasonably consider it necessary, including where:

• you breach these Terms;
• we suspect misuse, abuse, fraud, or security risk;
• your use creates risk to users, third parties, or us;
• we are required to do so by law or lawful request;
• a payment or subscription issue arises;
• the Services or relevant features are discontinued.

Termination or suspension does not affect any accrued rights or obligations.

17. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not warrant, represent, or guarantee that:

• the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free;
• any output will be accurate, complete, reliable, or suitable;
• any scam, phishing attempt, malicious link, spoofed call, or suspicious request will be detected or flagged;
• any feature will remain available or compatible;
• any problem, defect, or vulnerability will be corrected;
• the Services will meet your expectations or requirements.

Any reliance you place on the Services is at your own risk.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quantum Ignitions Ltd, FraudSentry, and their officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential loss or damage, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, contracts, goodwill, anticipated savings, data, or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with the Services or these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for losses arising from or related to:

• scams, fraud, phishing, impersonation, spoofing, deception, criminal acts, or misconduct by third parties;
• your reliance on outputs, alerts, summaries, or guidance;
• false positives, false negatives, missed detections, delayed warnings, or unsupported devices;
• permission failures, operating-system behaviour, or mobile/carrier/network limitations;
• third-party outages, hosting failures, app-store policies, ad-provider failures, or payment-provider issues;
• interruptions, bugs, data loss, security events, or service unavailability;
• your own actions, omissions, or failure to verify independently.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

19. Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Quantum Ignitions Ltd, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, licensors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or connected with:

• your use or misuse of the Services;
• your breach of these Terms;
• your violation of applicable law;
• your infringement of any third-party rights;
• content or information you submit through the Services.

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, their subject matter, or their formation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, except to the extent mandatory local law requires otherwise.

The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

22. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on the relevant page with the updated effective date. Where required by law, we will take appropriate steps to notify users of material changes.

Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms take effect may constitute acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.

23. General Provisions

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remainder of the Terms shall remain in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations where reasonably necessary, including as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets.

These Terms, together with any other policies or notices expressly incorporated into them, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services, except where additional terms apply at the point of purchase or through a relevant third-party platform.
