Evri scam text
Evri scam texts often say there is a missed delivery, a reschedule problem, or a small payment needed. They are designed to catch people when they are expecting a parcel and not looking too closely.
Example
Evri: We were unable to deliver your parcel today. Please confirm a new delivery slot and pay the fee here: [link]
5 red flags
- It asks for payment to rearrange delivery.
- The link does not clearly lead to Evri's official website.
- The wording is generic and does not identify the parcel clearly.
- It asks for card details, login details, or security codes.
- It tries to pressure you with a deadline or threat of return.
What to do now
Do not tap the link or reply to the message. Check any parcel directly through Evri's official website or app instead.
If you entered card details, contact your bank or card provider straight away. If you entered a password, change it anywhere else you used it. Be cautious with follow-up texts or calls that claim they can fix the issue.
